We are committed to protecting the privacy and personal information that customers provide us with in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  At no time will we sell or pass your details to third parties without obtaining your consent (save that your name and address details will be passed to our carriers for goods delivery purposes). 

The information you provide is used to process your order.  In addition we may occasionally contact you to let you know of any special promotions, new products or any news we feel may be of interest to you.

Information is collected about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to provide you with the best possible service. By providing this information you consent to this information being used in the manner described in this privacy statement. The type of information we will collect about you includes your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We will be happy to update our records as you wish. If there are any inaccuracies we will amend our records without delay. We charge £10 for requests for personal information.

SAFE ORDERING

As part of our ordering process it is necessary to provide your name and address as well as a phone number. We require your address for delivery purposes and your phone number in case of a need to contact you although we would usually email where possible.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD SECURITY

www.scrumptioussweets.co.uk does not have access to your debit/credit card details. PayPal is used to process your payment card details. The payment processing complies with the highest privacy regulations and the best encryption software in the industry - SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). You can tell the page is secure by the padlock icon being displayed on your browser.

CONFIDENTIALITY

Any information www.scrumptioussweets.co.uk collects about you is not shared with third parties.

The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing or writing to us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.

E-MAIL

www.scrumptioussweets.co.uk will occasionally email you with news and special offers from time to time. You will always be given the opportunity to be taken off the mailing list at any time.

COMPLAINTS

We aim to deliver the highest level of customer service. However, if you feel you would like to complain about any matter please e-mail Saida Ebrahim at Enquiries. We will reply as soon as possible and in any case you will at least receive an acknowledgement within 3 (three) working days whilst we work to resolve your complaint. Please note that you have the right to no-charge SafeBuy mediation.

CUSTOMER SERVICES

If you have any query about an order please e-mail us at Enquiries@scrumptioussweets.co.uk quoting your order reference number or call us on (01733) 569175 (please try to call between 10:00 - 16:00 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday). Outside of these hours an answering machine may be able to take your message. The cost of calling will be charged at local or national call rate depending on where you live and your telephone operator.

PAYMENT SECURITY

When making purchases by credit/debit card you will be redirected to a PayPal server where Verisign 1024 bit encryption systems are used. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used meaning your credit/debit card details are safe. For more information please see the PayPal website. We do not have access to your credit/debit card information.
